I extended my trip from India to include several days in Thailand, so I could visit my cousins and a ministry where my best friend from college serves. I shared my testimony in Thailand and several kids said YES to a relationship with Jesus! It was the only part of my journey where I traveled alone.

With overweight luggage and no solution besides expensive fees, the Holy Spirit led me to a specific agent—who “just happened” to be Deaf. His face lit up when he saw me signing! Though I knew little of the local language, sign language allowed us to communicate on a much deeper level. (While sign language is not universal, there are many similarities between different sign languages). He not only waived all my baggage fees and personally escorted me past all lines straight to my gate, but he stayed with me for over two hours.

Looking back, I wonder if I was entertaining an angel unaware (Hebrews 13:2).
